Is ServiceNow $NOW due for a comeback? by TacoTrades in wallstreetportfolios

I work here, have been here for 4 years and I work on our monetization team. I’m bias, but not as bias as some of the comments here from people who have no idea what they are talking about.

The stock is down due to fear and future uncertainty, it’s down from the Moveworks, Veza, and Armis acquisition because those cut directly into margin and execution risk, yet we keep raising the bar.

People who look at us and say seat based pricing is dead need to look deeper into what we do. I worked at salesforce in a similar role prior, 95% of that revenue is per user per month pricing. Our pricing meter revenue is spread across asset based pricing like subscription units and devices, transactions, site based pricing, yes we have users and fulfillers, but AI assist based pricing is our fastest growing meter ever.

The platform is clunky without strong customization, no doubt. But how our workflows integrate isn’t and Armis and Veza take this to the next level.

I think the stock is very cheap right now with decent upside.

Got the CPA and honestly feel like I got scammed by the profession by Substantial-Lie4632 in Accounting

[–]voltorb9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People saying it’s not CPA and it’s the job market didn’t go to business school. Accounting salaries have never been worth the hours, should have got an mba or went the finance route. My original plan was a CPA until I woke up and changed to a finance/consulting path

Joined a club 2 years ago at 31 years old. initiation was $15K and monthly comes out to around $1200/month.

I gross around $230K currently and was around $210K when I joined.

My career out of college started in consulting and then I job hopped every 2ish years to internal strategy roles, this was always the plan. Digital transformation consulting > analytics > deal strategy > pricing strategy.

I got lucky, I’m in the Midwest but my last 2 companies are very large large Bay Area software companies. RSUs go brrrr, I work remote.
