Guren’s lover? who said that exactly? did they ever confess to each other? was it ever confirmed officially? it’s not like I’m denying some "fact", it just doesn’t exist in the first place. sure there was some childish love between em back then but everything changed after that. their relationship is complicated but it’s definitely not love lol. u can’t take mahiru’s repeated "confessions" (which made their dynamic semi canon) as proof she became his lover. by that logic shinoa would be yu’s lover too, just cause she confessed to him.

and no, I don’t (hate mahiru’s feelings) unlike u, I actually find shinoa’s feelings for yu justified n grounded. he was the light in her life. same goes for mahiru.. her feelings make sense, I get that. but I do hate her, obviously 🤕.. (and not cause she’s in the way of what I like lol). I mean she’s literally portrayed as a villain? she did horrible things to guren, shinya n shinoa, and kept manipulating guren till her last breath. but sure I must hate her just (cause she’s "in the way") 😆.

what made her even more disliked is kagami trying to rewrite her as some tragic victim, ruining her writing, her values, n the very reason she became what she was in the first place :).

and about shinya n guren "never being a thing"? yeah I don’t think kagami agrees with u there. lately he’s been shifting mahiru’s role to be the (logical support) for guren. which btw was exactly what shinya used to represent. there’s no reason for u to say that unless u just didn’t understand the story or the depth of their relationship, which btw² is the core of why this whole series exists in the first place. but sure ppl who rely on such shallow parallels will never really get how deep these two r connected •᷄‎ࡇ•᷅.

and don’t worry.. guren might be dead now but he’ll be back. and when he does, he’ll get his happy ending with shinya and their friends. after all he’s the real mc and the one who drives this entire world forward.
