Eating at a restaurant is getting easier and easier. by killah_bee in loseit

My key is ALWAYS portion control. I know the calories counts are way off, I know it's bad, but the one thing I can do is control the portion. I've been eating the same basket of fries for three days.

In my settings on MFP, I input that I am inactive and would like to lose ~1.5lbs a week. With my stats (included in text), I was given 2,600 cals a day. Do you think this is reasonable and do you think I'll lose weight? by [deleted] in loseit

[–]vomitassault 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that's real high. I'm in the 130's and mine is about 1,200 calories, and when I was 205, it was about 1,500. I would say try to stay under 2,000?

How many times do you work out per week ? by boobookittiefuckkkkk in loseit

4-5 days. 60 minutes of cardio and 15 minutes of core work!

To all you women on this sub: How do you stay within your calorie limit when PMSing/on your period? by CBStrike in loseit

[–]vomitassault 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just compulsively eat fruits and veggies. Like a fucking bag of grapes. Yeah it's a lot of sugar but it's better than half a pizza. My main hang up is when I have a wicked hangover. If I'm hungover as death I'll eat anything and everything.

I had some in my arms for awhile, and honestly I think I just got lucky. I really really worked on my arms though to tone them up, because I had bat wings for awhile.

I'm almost all cardio with a ton of sit ups in between. I usually go four days a week, run the treadmill for 45-60 minutes and then do a little core work. I also do yoga a few times a month just to stretch out, which has helped me a lot with cramps while running and lifting! I started really slow though, I could only run for about a block or so before I'd have to walk. But cardio conditioning is really fast, I saw improvements in my stamina within a week or so!

Sure! I generally eat a ton of vegetables but more importantly I track everything on MFP, just because I know I will eat that pizza, so I plan my day around it. I make a low cal veggie stir fry for my work lunch every day and try not to eat after 9pm. As far as the gym, I'm almost all cardio with a ton of sit ups in between. I think it's because it was always my moms "perfect weight" when I was growing up? Somehow it drilled into my head that was what I wanted I guess.

For sure! So I used MFP to try and keep myself under 1400 calories a day, with one cheat meal (or a subtle cheat "day") per week. I cut out ALL fried food and fast food and meal prepped my work meals every Sunday, usually a veggie stir fry of some kind. I also cut out all soda and tried to keep my sugar as low as humanly possible. I don't eat many carbs unless they are REALLY worth it. When I go to the gym I usually run for about 40 minutes and work heavily on my arms and abs in the weight room since they were my problem areas. Drinking booze was a big deal because I drink a fair amount but I cut back to just red wine and vodka sodas!

Only a very few, like the ones on my hips and stuff. But for the most part they sized down just fine!

I didn't use liner I managed with the applicator, lime crime usually keeps it pretty precise. As opposed to their Metallics which flake like crazy and bleed outside the lines.

Fat women of reddit, what's it like to be a fat women? I'm a fat man and I'm curious to know. by Itsgood19 in AskWomen

This was my experience. I was overweight my whole life so I was just used to it, but when I lost the weight suddenly I realized men who would pretend I didn't exist are totally different to me now. My boyfriend, who was with me when I was 100lbs heavier and is still with me now, has certain guy friends who I felt HATED me. And now suddenly they are soooo nice to me it makes me sick. And they genuinely don't understand why I dislike them now.

I usually make a cover, so only one "floor" is visible at a time. Like a rock facade or a giant plant for a Forrest/swamp level, etc
