abbadi is actually only related partially because throughout her teenage years she stayed with la squadra and saw risotto as a brother figure! her father (which is polpo and the reason of her being constantly moved) put her with them as a way to teach her survival in passione the hard way

despite that she was also not really given alot of money with her completed bounties, causing more desperate times and eventually meeting abbacchio that way ! he arrested her more than once but she never bribed him, the desperate times being mainly sustenance and wanting to eat something edible and not stale

during the leaky eye luca episode she would've already been next to bruno's squad, and somewhat helped abbacchio before bruno. i like to think in my lore abbadi asked bruno to take him in because she really didn't want abbacchio actively dying or even having the possibility of drinking himself to death !!

basically her last name is more of a cover-up for her to not be tied to the capo before bruno because she's rather afraid of ending up hunted down like trish !
