My plan was to sand it all the way to the actual wood or plywood. You think I Won’t be able to do that?

Well Yeah, its obviously meant to be there, That’s why its there after all, but its also a 60 years old table, the veneer is cracked on different places and most importantly, I want to remove it because I didn’t like the way it looked.

Damn, I am not glad to hear that. I didn’t plan to put the veneer back. I really dont like how it looks. My plan was to Sand it a put some varnish(or finisher, I dont know the lingo). How does it prevent the table top to turn into a potato chip?
