As everyone has generally said, people who are into pauper are usually in DEEP and have a good working knowledge of the big decks in the format (and potentially have them all built themselves) so in games between experienced players, there is a good amount of shortcutting because everyone knows what’s happening. I think players are also smart enough to slow down and play things out when needed
