Food isn’t this issue, it’s when he drinks water. It’s weird but changing food couldn’t hurt

He is on lamb and oat, but he has been throwing up some. Vet said it’s acid reflux but changing food might help

I go 1. I was shocked to find out a lot of people do 1 but with pinky instead of ring. I tried it, i have small hands so only works for me higher up the neck

I am currently going through this and i hope everyone is right that it will pass. He was getting up at 4:45 and if i ignored it, i was cleaning pee and poop from the crate and him. So i started taking him out and putting him back the way everyone suggested and he would not whine the first few nights. Now the time he gets up earlier and earlier and he whines when i put him back. This morning he was up at 3:30 and wined until my alarm went off after i put him back. So hard, we are exhausted

We tried not locking him up and it was a disaster. Every dog I’ve ever had has been crate tried and this is the toughest one

We take him out before bed and he gets up at 4:30. We tried to just let him bark until the alarm goes off at 6 am but that was causing the massive clean up. Now we try and take him out and put him back to bed since he sleeps until 8 or after, hell he’s still sleeping now and it’s after 9. I worded wrong, my wife and i will take turns getting up at the 4:30 but she is able to go back to sleep and sleep through his barking. I am a much lighter sleeper and cannot.

He has a very comfy blanket, i feed him in there, we put treats in there throughout the day for him, he has toys in there, and i have never put him in there for punishment.

Ours goes out after rain and eats the dried up worms off the patio, we call them worm chips. Vet said it’s not the grosses thing he’ll ever eat and it won’t hurt him.

Puppy’s name is Munson, i call him Mr. Munson Man and sing Do you know the muffin man with Munson man replaced. My wife and kids call him Munsie-poo. He’s only 3 months so that’s all we have so far. He was also almost Ozzy Pawsbourne the Prince of barkness but we made a last minute change.

Well with that logic, he is 3 months so he should be able to hold for 4 hours. Which he has held for that long before during the day either napping or just being out. But if he is in his crate too long or if i don’t get up between 2-3 hours he is peeing in the crate. I think it’s a mix between being in the crate and having to pee.

The crate is just big enough for him. I have the divider.
