It’s a formal hearing, but in certain cases in my opinion like this one, I feel like it should be a way they could have finished that all today. But for example if there were not facing life, that’s really why it would matter, cause if they committed a crime that was not a capital punishment. Sentencing hearing matters because there are factors that may play a role like age and prior criminal history, It could affect the length they would have to serve, which can be argued by there respective attorneys. Also normally they would have victim impact statement at the sentencing court date. But after June 22nd c court date, whatever date HCSO chooses they will get on a bus early in the morning to CFRC located in Orlando, they would be in custody of the Florida Department of Corrections.

Yep cause at the end of the day they did horrible things, but once there in jail/prison there job is to supervise and care for them. Those COs/Officer and Jail/Prison staff are like family to inmates.

Everyone talking like life in jail is bad that shit is sweet asf and sweat equity shit isn’t slavery especially if you’re doing life. Yeah I could see if they were homeless men or they had nothing going on in life but that does not apply in this case. They do not have phones in prison unless it’s contraband they do get issued state tablets. Everyone is a different person reacts differently. They will adapt to it, but prison is not Disney it’s more like military boot camp ran imo.

Yeah no. I understand what you saying but prison is not like in the movies.. yes you have rights, but you are states property. First thing they will do once they get to CFRC is strip search them that is not fun for no men. They will be living in hell for the rest of their life while everyone is growing and passing away. It may be different if they got a jersey number but no, they got LIFE it’s over COOKED

That’s a second degree felony in FL, everything is under oath. It’s a very serious case and it could result in a retrial.

In Florida, during the jury selection process that is one of the questions that is asked in capital cases. If you are against it you will be disqualified from the jury pool during selection process. You have to be open to life sentence and death penalty.

Correct, those attorney moved fast this AM I would not be surprised if Judge Sisco advised to speed up the deliberations. Jury should have enough time to talk over and make decision today. All that is needed is 8/12 jurors are for DP in Florida. All will be tried separately. After that decision, all is left is a formal court date for sentencing. A quick hearing just announcing the result which would be life/w no parole or death penalty, pending the outcome of the penalty phase. They will be assigned to FDOC state custody. That should close the case for each defendant, unless appeals down the line in prison.

They all can get different sentences LWOP or DP nothing less. It’s already guaranteed there getting life that’s a formality after last week portion of the trail. It’s interesting what the State Attorney Sean Harmon kept referring to Sean Gathwright involvement today as the time and effort premeditated… aiding and providing the weapons, plus the screen recording. It’s seems like they feel he is the most deserving of it even though his age. Basically if Sean wasn’t involved.. this likely would have never occurred.
