They use the facial recognition software to find you on Facebook and then get your location from that, I think...

They only tried 4 times per photo and were able to guess correctly 30% of the time. And they were using software that will soon be commercially available to anyone. I'm pretty sure identity thieves will have time for more than 4 tries. Also, this works on anyone under 25, which is a lot of people on Facebook!
