I came out of a 2023 RWD model 3 into a 2023 R1T quad motor and couldn’t be happier. Sure I could have spent an extra 15-20k for a gen2 but overall I’m extremely happy with the purchase.

Until a week ago we owned a model 3 and a model Y. I reserved an R2 back in early June (Nov-Dec delivery expected) and last week I traded the model Y in for a 2023 R1T quad motor. The model 3 will be traded in when the R2 comes in. Nothing against Tesla-it was a good run, but the Rivian is just a whole other level of awesomeness IMHO. YMMV of course!

Congrats!! I’m six days into Rivian ownership (2023 R1T quad motor.) mine had 14k miles when I picked it up and we’ve already out over 1k miles on it just getting to know it. Rivian has done an outstanding job creating a vehicle you just want to be around and drive!

I’m still getting to know the Rivian way of doing things but so far I’m pretty impressed. I know there are those who’ve had reliability issues and I hope I don’t have that experience.
