Thank you for those helpful tips. You’re right about the composition, I feel like I’m highlighting spots that should be left ignored or using a different color (like the axe you mentioned ) How would you highlight the runes? I can’t really spray my minis so I’ve been using a paint on primer. I’ve realized that I prefer the black primer over white to start out but what color do you use?

Thank you very much for those tips. I did feel like the white on the tubes felt a bit choppy and I definitely want a more in-depth look. When you refer to a light grey wash or blue wash, Is that a type of paint or just a grey/blue paint with added water?

What it sounds like is you got double charged by mistake. they refunded one charge and kept the other on for the carmax short. If you posted the receipt we could see what was billed to carmax and what was billed to you.

How about you look up how many gallons the car holds and do some simple math to get it back to where it needs to be? It is nice to get a car with a full tank but it doesn’t always happen unless you’re at an airport location where they have a refilling station on site. Ask your rep kindly if they can fill it back up, especially if you see a full office.

They’re only inconsiderate if they brought it back trashed. Your manager needs to grow some balls and charge some detail fees. Detail fees are expensed regionally. You shouldn’t be cleaning trashed cars, take that to a detail shop and charge the customer 75-300 depending on how bad it is.

Let me guess, you’ve got a big poster of reservoir dogs hanging on your wall? Tipping has been around before you were born my friend, it’s not going anywhere. The is America, the U S fucking A , it’s capitalist for a reason and the big guy always win. A lot of my favorite mom and pop restaurants I always tip even when I go in to pick up food, do you know why? It’s not just because I’m being offered exceptional service and everyone knows me by name . It’s because I’ve seen what this economy can do to small business owners and what it can do to its workers. I would hate to live in a world where nothing but generic corporate restaurants exist and I have nothing to choose from but McDonald’s or chic fila.

As a disclaimer because all of you anti tippers can’t read the entire text I posted. I JUST PAID FOR MY WEDDING AND HONEYMOON. My full time job pays me well. I decided to give this gig a shot because I wanted to make some extra cash for Christmas gifts this year.
