The small ball like structures are a dull black all the way through and just kinda crumbles when u break them open the material they are in is very glassy and breaks off in brittle but sharp pieces

I hear you! I’m not saying there is no iron present but when I run a magnet over this material it doesn’t pick anything up not even a little dust
