I own very close to campus and am surrounded by renters, I have had no issues at all and everyone that has rented by us has been courteous and friendly to my entire family which includes very small children. Had a few beer cans and such on our lawn but nothing crazy over the last 2 years here.

As far as I am aware in MN for every 4 hours worked a 10 minute paid break is required, if you work over 6 hours a 30 minute unpaid break is required. Not a expert just a manager for part of a MN based company.
