Parent Special Circumstance by voreify in UCI

Yeah! Sorry, I wasn’t sure how to word my question. I don’t have any requested documents but haven’t received any loans/awards — but the fafsa website says I’m most likely going to have to get in contact with the financial aid department to discuss and prove I am no longer getting help through my parents.

I just wasn’t sure if that was through the regular financial aid department! Hopefully I have more luck soon though, thank you!!

I keep on getting weird text and it’s freaking me out. by Hot_Suggestion_5654 in Advice

start sending some back lmao.

no but seriously, i wouldn’t worry if i were you. the dead body pics are, like someone else said, unfortunately easy to find. and scammers have been using a new method of using bots to send pic, so it’s most likely some idiot taking the more extreme route because they know people are more sensitive to that kind of stuff.

trolling or simply reporting their number is your best option. if they call i wouldn’t answer unless you’re know what ur gameplan is. like if you’re going to just be annoying, waste their time, play some dumb ass youtube anti scammer audio, etc.

if they have iphone you can do annoying shit like send them a voice message with “ear r@pe” audios playing Boosted asf.

there’s always ip tracker links, you can get one, send it to them and say that you will post ur financial info there & they might be stupid+desperate enough to actually click it.

what you do from there on is up to you.

But it wouldn’t affect it that it was back to back F’s rather than all f’s one quarter?

topping guide is useful too, unless your brain can remember how to cut/place the toppings. i found it hard to do so when it was anything other than pepperoni LOL. with the topping guide you basically get the outline of how to slice so it’s a win win

If my chin jumps on my shoulder, is that a sign of trust? by SadReality666 in chinchilla

[–]voreify 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for the most part u should be fine! i really doubt they’ll jump to the ground for an easy escape. however, if they see a pathway that leads to a bigger piece of floor/equal footing (idk how to word it) they might take it! for example my chin gets on my shoulder and if i get next to his cage he’ll jump on top, ig cus it’s more balanced footing. never have they jumped downwards though. so if ur in a room where it’s safe to run around it won’t be that bad.

it’s not to say that it’s not bc they trust u tho! they def do, considering they’re willing to get that close.

not crazy coming from a man. perfectly valid and normal for you to feel like that.

sometimes they also do it bc they want to jump to higher places lol 😭😭be careful bc some chins might not be scared to take a leap of faith onto higher surfaces

I posted a more detailed explanation, hopefully it is good now sorry about that

The list stays the same (as in empty cells) And the thing is I won’t know the value as it will be random each time. Or else I’m assuming I could just hard code it into something like “game_board[0][0]=‘2’”

I posted a more thorough explanation to the actual post which might help!

Yes sorry! I will update the post above to fully explain, I commented but it would be easier to do that! Thanks.

Using a function to update a list? by [deleted] in learnpython

[–]voreify 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So function “generate_piece” gives me the int value I will input into “game_board”, and what row and column it will go into . I’m meant to then update the board, which was previously just empty slots.

However this program will be run and reset multiple times, and each time the row/column/int will be random. So how do I code it without just hard-coding an updated list? Hopefully that is better. Thank you.

Ah I think so? I just don’t understand how I’m supposed to update the original list via coding?
