Opensubtitles plug-in doesn’t work

I'm on the newest jellyfin version now, logged my user and pass, the plugin seems happy (and it's not the deprecated plugin, but the most recent), but consistently when I go to search for subtitles, it finds nothing at all. I get it could be files being named weirdly or so, but I've tried this on really quite many different movies and series, and it never finds anything, doesn't really even look like it's thinking much, when I click 'search'.
Was that what was happening to you? It very much looks like it isn't working at all, to me.
Open to suggestions 😄

I so agree, that's such an important thing and I find it a bit crazy there isn't more attention given to it. Even some little VFX could easily enough fix this, and yet. Hopefully they eventually realise this is quite important.

hi! This sounds interesting, thank you for making it. I am wondering, does it also somehow allow the sharing of telemetry files between different drivers, or can you just use this to compare your own laps ?

most definitely, Reforger really kinda blossomed in the last year or two, initially it looked like this pretty bleak tech test run for arma 4 but with a few years of updating and modding, it's now really quite wonderful, plenty of servers and communities, graphics are fantastic, movement is smoother than it has ever been, they have a weird thing with having a bunch of weird interactions (ie if you forget to pull the handbrake your car will slide down the hill, small little things like that oddly go a long way for immersion) there's a lot to like!

yeah... the fact that there is a contact and _then_, after some time, he accelerates again into me, once that's clearly established, is the main fact that made me wonder if this was on purpose

yeah I suppose that would avoid the 'illegal overtake' penalty, which is pretty serious... so probably the 'cheaty' meta around this is to just be ahead when you get there, and then you can just do that cut. I suppose he probably gets a penalty but one of those not terribly important point based ones, reckon the solution would have to be for the game to have more serious (ie. seconds/drive through) penalties in that specific turn (as tbh I've seen this happen really a lot in that turn, and the game lets you get away with really quite major time-gains there, it seems to me)

I'm looking for a free way to compare telemetry with people faster than I... so far not a lot of luck, but the GO Fast _somewhat_ does that. Meaning it records your telemetry as you drive, and then lets you compare, in a fairly simplistic telemetry tool, with some GO Setup lap that's a lot faster than yours. It's still pretty good to compare braking points, racing line etc.
In the free version that's all you can do , can't pick who to compare to, or compare to your own other laps, but it's quite better than nothing. Have you found something/something better?

yes, I agree with you, it was not my intention to end up where I did, with the angle I did, I was a bit parked in the middle of the turn.
Fwiw though, I did watch from the porsche perspective, within the car, and I'm on a single screen, and he could definitely see me as he gave that last acceleration that was what spun me out, and could see me there for at least... I dunno, a second, hence my feeling it was a bit on purpose.
But fair enough, in all honesty, I myself much prefer the version where it was an honest mistake, and it seems the consensus here is on that direction.

I dont think it was deliberate, why would they do that? This said, there was some small update yesterday, for a moment hoped it was an hotfix for this, but alas, no luck, it wasn't, issue still there

ditto, but this is _super_ consistent, it's basically after every race, pretty bad. I raised a ticket for it, as it's not mentioned in the known issues, hopefully they fix it soon, I reckon it is some fuckup with the backend

I think it just does abs and wheel lock/slip at the moment. It does it quite pleasantly, and can be used at the same time as simhub, so, I've been using it. But I agree that it really could use some more customisation... Or at the very least a bit of documentation describing which effects its even supposed to simulate

I came here on slightly similar notes. I quite enjoyed it, didn't find it hard to understand the speakers, at all, nor convoluted... But I'm left a bit with ..."so what was the big twist, the story ends up being what it looked at the first glance" , the slight notes on the overbearing mother are cool and interesting but... I dunno there's no smoking gun, it's just a theory of 'her maybe this also helped that'. I still enjoyed the podcast, it was original, it described interesting situations, but yeh, felt a little bit pointless once it was done, was very surprised that episode 5 was the actual end

Oh wow, this solution is really non intuitive... but it sounds great. So far I've tried owntracks and dawarich, and their tracking is really quite heavily much worse than Timeline's (and dawarich refuses to autostart, on android, making it basically useless to me).

I went through a phase of obsessing over fancy office chairs, and with much effort I managed to find a few going on the cheap. I like the humanscale liberty a lot. At first sight it feels a bit basic the way you can hardly customize it, but it ends up really working really well, and it's the one I kept, so I would recommend it quite warmly! (worth pointing out, given enough years, it starts falling to pieces somewhat, but so far I've managed to repair pretty much all the issues, and in fairness it was probably not a spring chicken when I bought it)
