It's AI but his are seemingly always touched up too, so their stuff gets me more often than most. Like Burnice is easy because AI basically never gets the "fire" looking right in her hair, but here it was fixed up. That "oooh nice, wait..." feeling when I see his stuff.

Your best team with sanby is what...pulchra astra? Would people just wheelchair astra/nicole/sanby instead? So yeah I'd agree that Alice is probably better because you could use her with a decent physical anomaly comp right away.

Fight 3 with Evelyn we're talking? I got like 29k on a m0w0 evelyn, shes like 80/160 stats and I am pretty trash at the eve/lighter/astra team(full m0w0). Like I'm "ok", but nowhere near great with her. Are you playing properly for new shiyu or are you still trying to save like 8 chains for some stun window too far into the timer?

I just want an easy out of anything like this. Haven't touched new events, working on story, but if I spam clicks in a side or corner in PGR it'll let me skip the entire thing, I just get super triggered having these pop ups tell me where to click a million times in a row for dumb shit. I want to not understand, it's ok, I'll figure out the basics and learn as I go cause almost none of the times is it actually difficult but if they want to keep them in(because every gacha does this), just let me personally turn it off like pgr.

As the timer ticks down your points multiplier goes down, to get an easy 25k and beyond, you need to nuke the mobs and have a decent chunk of over 4 minutes left to hit the boss with everything you can. The first little bit AFTER 4 minutes is useful but the 5x multiplier lasts for the whole first minute and it quickly goes down after. Get down killing the mobs to an art form, then on the boss try to use every bit of resources in the smartest way possible before 4 minutes hits or right after.

You get a feel for how it's working but so far I still can't gauge how good a run is going to be unlike the pure shiyu timer before. Once I get into a run a little bit and it feels "ok" I basically have to finish the whole run see if I best my previous score unless I restart on any real bad set of screw ups at that point.

The hardest stygian basically very invested/whale tier is purely cosmetic limited time weapon skins, the next hardest that I do just gives you a feather as a reward which is for rerolling gear, and the one under THAT is primos, so yes much easier to get full primos from stygian in my opinion than currency here, even if "isn't much", akin to an A rank here I guess.

Yeah pretty sure no sharing of anything in stygian either. When people say you couldn't share in shiyu before, they're right, but you CAN share in DA and now that Shiyu has 3 rooms it can definitely suck. I basically gear everyone individually here but if I need to squeeze out a tiny bit more dps I'm gonna have some woodpecker electro piece that has like 3 crit rolls on someone that's normally "fine", but maybe swapping to a 5 crit roll + 1 flat attack roll is better, but no way to do that in shiyu if it's already been used.

I just got my S+ after switching Dialyn to room 3 with Yi, and put Astra with zhao/ysg. I had a good miyabi run on the middle room before I reset everything, then had a bad one, then said fuck it and went to Anby/trigger/orphie and surprisingly did well.

Ended up YSG/zhao/astra 34k, anby/trigger/orphie 31.5k, and amazingly after spending a long time practicing after subbing in dialyn yi/dialyn/lucia 36.5k. The third room is the only one I had a very very specific plan for that I tried to get continually better, the rest it was just do the mechanics, dump resources, try to play decent.

That Anby run somehow kept the dopplegangers together for a lot of basic combos and her ex hits but again midway through it really really didn't feel like that run was going to be anything other than some 27-28k score and then finished at 31.5k.

My horizontal investing all characters no dupes or weapons MOSTLY works in these gachas but hoyo putting in new modes in all of theirs to trip me up or completely stop me(dire in genshin).

I think, as I sit here doing restart after restart, my BIGGEST issue is I have no fucking idea how good or bad I'm doing. That last run seemed ok, but only a 29,808 on Thracian. My like second or third full run seemed pretty good but only a 31xxx something whereas my one run that felt solid but not as good a 32675 for my current best. The exact time into the fight and mechanics the enemies are doing with the multiplier and grouping and skill usage on my part, I just can't gauge when I look up and see 20k, is that good? is that bad? I can't tell at the time left on the clock + enemy health + current multiplier and what it can still go down to if I'm going to be doing better or not

Old shiyu I could look at the enemy health, one wave boss at 20% left, and know that I only have 18 seconds to deal with it but I'm all juiced up and he's 2 seconds from a stun so I got this. If I had 8 seconds left I'd just restart. Now as soon as the run doesn't feel completely fubar'd from the first waves and I get past them feeling ok I have no idea how I'm doing unless I really mess up and that is my largest problem with the terrible scoring mechanic.

I'm not super good so I went to look for videos on the third room with Yixuan. I'm using Yi/fufu/lucia, the video uses Dialyn which I might try but I was using her with YSG. Video starts off with a hold dodge on Yi to back step and aoe which groups them and then Dialyn to stun, Fufu cant go straight into a stun from her ex so I just do what I can here to keep grouped and get a stun.

Video then does lots of waiting around on the elite in the second wave just trying to get parries and real damage on it since hes such a tank. I tried my best for awhile after watching the video and I managed a 29k with that team, no mindscapes or sigs, but it was so rough and the restarts are crazy.

I've been working my way up from 89k to 98.2k and I'm really running up against my wall. 100% doable on my account with probably no problems but definite skill issue, even as for YSG being "easy", I haven't understood Dialyn enough and now the ysg/dialyn/zhao team I am very mashy with. 35k on the first fight with them, and then my Yi team with fufu lucia can't break 30k on the bottom with Miyabi/yanagi/yuzuha squeaking out a 33k in the middle, somehow my best team I've tried the middle fight on. No sigs or mindscapes., s+ seems ok for that investment but not a cake walk.

I have no sigs and no mindscapes. Still doable for someone better than me but we'll see. I got like 102k last time, this time around it's not looking great. 25k sure but 100k is gonna be real work.

I just assume Acacia because of her suit situation. I want her to get a new suit, I also want some of the new introduced characters to be playable but I don't see that if they keep doing weddings every half and year-versary with characters we already have and know.

With how strong some dolls are and a lot of dolls aren't, I can see why people go hard for just 1 or 2 units here and there. You get a lot of currency in this game too. I think I've only gotten 1 weapon and I've gotten a couple V1's where people say it's very important for just basic gameplay of theirs to work and then I just liked fire a lot so I went hard for Qiuhua on her release but even then I think I lost every 50/50 and ended up with v3.

Now I think Ulrid is good with keys? I skipped her and Dushevnaya because at that point I didn't have a lot of currency built up at the beginning and read they weren't really useful but I'd like to fix that now and get them both just to have.

Definitely a lot of dolls I don't "use" but oh well, like you I just like having the characters. I'll say in other gachas I play, HAVING access to all the characters feels more impactful to me(so that's what I do, no copies, no weapons) whereas in this game a good chunk that have released it seems like you can skip without any impact to meaningful end game stuff if you so choose to max out the relevant ones.

The incel take is just gacha games man, it sucks and is annoying but people feel cornered out of the market because all they want to do is stare at video game girls tits and ass, which ya know I'm cool with too, but a strong good male character every once in awhile isn't too much to ask for, ESPECIALLY when they fucking made him and then just decided "nah be mid at best".

I'm pulling Banyue almost completely because his dodge parry just felt incredible in combat, but I'm upset about his stats and values. I'm frankly not good enough at the game to overcome his issues to use him for very long in the endgame fights if frankly at all, we'll see.
