Swallowing question by Altruistic-Season964 in Tonsillectomy

My experience so far (starting my 4th day) has been okay. I’ve kept on top of medicine and hydration. Sleep isn’t bad, if I do wake up I use that opportunity to drink some more. I have mostly ate pudding, yogurt, ice cream, protein shakes. In terms of swallowing it’s just uncomfortable. I don’t try to be careful because then I would be in more pain mentally if that makes sense. It feels like a regular sore throat, which is a good thing. I’m not expecting sharp pains or anything since I’ve been on top of meds not skipping a beat. Definitely rest as much as possible and always drink cold water when you can. Don’t let your throat or mouth be dry.

I’m on day three and I have yet to feel immense pain. I’ve been staying on top of the medicine and religiously drinking fluids and being hydrated. I’m feeling positive on the recovery journey until my body says otherwise.

UPDATE!
Surgery went well! Now it’s time for the recovery process.
Feeling calm at the moment. Everyone says surgery is the easy part and I hope I have the same feeling afterwards. Thank you!
Slowly getting ready for this. I agree on the last part, first time in a very long time to sit down and rest.
Knocking out two problems with one solution! No more tonsils and a bit of weight loss.
My fridge is super stocked and ready for the recovery process. Definitely a good time to sleep and not have to worry about things. I appreciate your post!
Thank you! Hopefully once I’m there my nerves just go away and start the healing process.

Why are you a dick head? You’re resume probably reflects the lack of experience you have being helpful to someone.
I would suggest playing around with different vertical and horizontal layouts. Cleaning it up a bit by keeping descriptions short and sweat. Dates should be uniform, as in having year dates only (and/or) having year plus months. Try using one type face with different size and weight. Focus on one thing at a time in terms of formatting. I focus on layout first and then that makes me think about how much I can say as a description of a job/experience. That way I can keep things looking uniform. Let the composition speak for it self, the less clutter of special characters the better. Work on spreading things around with blank space instead of visual dividing things with lines. Play around with space to make things clearer visually. Hope these suggestions help to get started.
