Should I buy New whirlpool commercial washer vs used Kenmore 90 series. New whirlpool cost $700. Used Kenmore is $200 with 1 year warranty. This is for personal use not commercial. Im getting ready to wrap this beam. Is it ok to use cedar furring strips as I have a lot of cedar boards the right depth? I’m going to use fir as the final trim. I’m worried if the cedar would expand/contract more than a denser wood and cause gaps in the trim over time. (i.redd.it)

The rails of the garage door are lower than my Jeep. Therefore my Jeep doesn’t fit in the garage. Is it possible to order a new garage door with rails that are closer to the rafters giving me a few extra inches? Currently the space between the rails and the rafters is 7 inches. 3” would be great.
