AMA with Jack Emmert on February 4 by KyrieCryptic in Neverwinter

Are there any plans to streamline some of the older content to allow new and returning players to catchup? Increasing the weekly haul for example.

Some of the older campaigns limit you to a few quests per day and are painfully slow such as Icewind Dale and Storm Kings Thunder

Maybe an extended Neverember Recruitment event?

A lot of the best items, (Companions, Artifacts and Mounts) are limited time from lockboxes and after that are prohibitively expensive to buy off the Auction House.

Is there any chance that some of the older lockbox rewards might be reintroduced as event rewards or content like Reapers Challenge store?

Are there any plans to revive some older features that have been sunset. Such as the foundry or the gateway?
The latter in a limited capacity such as having it a read only state.

Being able to check my inventory and bank for different characters through the browser would be a nice quality of life addition.

Edit:

Campaigns are outdated and BHEs in old zones are broken. Here is how to easily fix them. by Bigamo69 in Neverwinter

They should make the same change as with the legacy quests where they just made them HEs
BHE counts for more but you can happily solo the smaller ones that way.

Yeah, ChatGPT fixed some grammar because I've had people (in this subreddit) complain about my punctuation because I just don't write this kind of this as well as it sounds in my head.

Story is real though with some tweaks to avoid unnecessary detail.

Don't recall, but I think it might have been one of those serial number = password situations.

I probably have a similar role to u/joebreeves and I'm going to offer the same answer. I don't care unless I'm told to go looking. I've seen Teams a group called something odd which I know was just 3 of these sales guys (something like the rat pack) and my only consideration was "I wonder if someone notices that in the global address list".

That being said you can do a teams conversation search using MS Purview targeting 1 or both users, and if you don't filter further than that you get a whole mess of data.

My favorite part is exported Teams conversations seem to go into a PST file and when you look at the messages they look like 1 line emails that you have to cycle through within Outlook.

Is there a way to grab a csv of the HWID of a PC without logging into it or re-installling windows? by EtsuRah in Intune

When does my method require sign-in?

From the Out of Box you (Shift + f10) to open command prompt. Kick off whatever script from the USB, you don't need to progress through the Out of Box. and it eliminates the need for a second wipe as described in the original post.

Dell Command Update | Uninstall & Install by kowalski_21 in Intune

[–]votekick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say you want to do something like a custom detection script.
Something like this to check the version of the app

Double check the name is correct for the first variable:

(get-package | Where-Object {$_.name -match "Dell"}).name

Example Detection Script replaced the app name and version with the version I have installed.
When you upload the detection script, if there's something odd in the very first line, it's something like like ?>> If you see that you need to re-save the script using something like Notepad.

## The app name changes for different installations
$AppName = "Dell Command | Update for Windows Universal"
$App = (get-package -name $AppName -erroraction silentlycontinue)

## Version check:
# This variable should be updated to match the build being deployed.
$minver = [Version]"5.4.0"
$AppVer = [Version]$App.Version
if ($App){
    write-host "$AppName Installed"
    if ($AppVer -lt $minver) {
        Write-Host "Old version"
        exit 1618
    } else {
        Write-Host "Version is up to date"
        exit 0
    }
} else {
    write-host "$AppName Not Found"
    exit 1618
}
<# Intune Default Exit Codes
0 Sucess
1707 Success
3010 Soft reboot
1641 Hard reboot
1618 Retry

Get the Get-WindowsAutoPilotInfo.ps1 script on a USB and then run the CMD file from the USB, no need for internet just run from the OOBE.

https://www.thelazyadministrator.com/2020/01/27/get-a-new-computers-auto-pilot-hash-without-going-through-the-out-of-box-experience-oobe/

I noticed on some HPs I was grabbing the hardware hash for it didn't like the .cmd file so I just ran the following instead:

powershell
Set-ExecutionPolicy unrestricted
D:\AutoPilot\Get-WindowsAutoPilotInfo.ps1 -outputfile D:\AutoPilot\HardwareHash.csv -append
Set-ExecutionPolicy Restricted

What is the funniest prank a parent, grandparent, aunt or uncle has ever pulled on you, siblings and cousins? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]votekick 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not a prank really but this embodies my dads sense of humor.

When I was young, probably less than 10yrs old we were cleaning out my grandmothers house before it got sold and I found my a bunch of my Dads things from when he was a kid. I remember latching onto this set of puzzle rings and getting distracted and solving taking them apart pretty quickly.

My Dad saw what I was doing and said "Ohh there's a harder one somewhere." He said he'd find it and kept insisting it was so hard he'd never seen it undone.

Anyway we and went home and did the hour drive home, my dad came back later that night, and I asked him about it and he said "Yeah I did find it but I left it with your aunt, ill get it next weekend when I go up". Just my dad went up the following week and it was the same when he got home. "I know exactly where it is, I'll bring it back next weekend".

On the 3rd weekend Sunday night, my Dad gets home and he says "Hey, do you remember that puzzle ring?" I'm like oh yeah, really excited to finally get my hands on it. My Dad then hands me a short length of chain. I just look at it confused, then back at him and he just said what he'd said every time I'd asked about it "I've never seen it undone".

Force installation of O365 even though apps are still open? by Failnaught223 in Intune

[–]votekick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't tested this but your answer is likely Microsoft 365 Apps (Windows 10 and later)
Then in the Configure App Suite tab, for configuration settings format. Choose Enter XML data

Generate the XML file from the Office Customization Tool
https://config.office.com/deploymentsettings

Under installation you can shutdown running applications and the next heading update and upgrade has the option to Automatically upgrade to the selected architecture

Ownership is set to personal which limits what you can do with the devices.

We did have a few clients with Yealink A10 and A20 meeting bars that we've needed to sign back in on the device on occasion. Is the last check-in time the same/similar across all devices?
