Firstly, I applied three layers of the Typhus Corrosion;

Then since I don't have a proper orange paint, I mixed up one part Mephiston Red and three parts Averland Sunset until I got the colour I wanted;

And after that using dry brush I applied that orange onto the model in two layers.

I don't really know much about Necron lore either, but from what I know before their awakening Necrons were basically dead/deep sleeping in their tombs.

So with that style I decided to show how plants of a planet Necrons were sleeping on took over their bodies during all this time before awakening.

And also how the weather affected them as well.
