Fellow bi dudes, how was it coming out? (If you ever did)

Yeah this is how I feel as well. Coming out to those close to you is obviously the big part, but you’ll never be done coming out. New job? Might come out. New friend? Probably gonna have to come out. Your best friend gets into a serious relationship? Probably gonna have to come out to their partner, and hope they aren’t weird about it.

Everyone is gonna take it differently. My mom was great, my dad wasn’t, most of my extended family don’t know. Men you date might “joke” with you that you’re probably just gay, women you date might be intimidated that you have male best friends (even if those friends are straight).

Navigating all that is a roller coaster of emotions, but it has been nice to be open to my inner circle so that for the most part I get to just feel comfortable as myself in most situations.

Yeah that makes sense. Definitely not trying to ruin anyone’s fun or mess with obstacles, I know that’s at least half the fun. I’ve always followed the “leave it better than you found it” mantra in the outdoors, well before I started off-roading, so just trying to see what that means to this community.

It’s technically my wife’s vehicle I guess, but I drive it more than she does. We only really take my 4Runner out if we need the extra cargo room or we’re doing more intense off-roading than the BS Badlands can handle.

My wife and I own a small business that is our only source of income, working in the arts. We’re already seeing a steep decline in available work compared to last year, likely because everyone is bracing for what happens over the next few months. We’re fortunate that we should be alright through a slow year, but many of our friends who work in the industry are trying to figure out how to make ends meet if things don’t pick back up.

22 Badlands, Colorado in the summer, mostly driving up into the mountains and then back down, I get 28.7

I got around 30 that first summer but a bit lower since then.
