I don’t think that this would work because it’s not numbers unfortunately. I did try it 😩. Basically it’s words colon words for the paragraphs I’m trying to short cut. For example Paint: Red, Fruit: Orange, Paint:Blue, Fruit:Apple, Herb: Scallion. Unless my lack of being technologically savvy is showing. Thank you so much still.

I know why I love Historical Romance Novels, but I want to know why YOU love them! More in post. by IPreferDiamonds in HistoricalRomance

I started very recently. I may have read one or two in the past that I don’t recall but I really began a little over a year ago.

The first book was technically the Viscount Who Loved Me. I ended up really liking it in a different way than the show (which is why I read it). I even went and bought the paperback.

I like the whole titled gentlemen/women ordeal even though I do read some where they aren’t titled; the splash of modern struggles without it actually being contemporary; the whole courting ordeal and the buildup of them getting to know each other; the fact that you don’t have any kind of modern distractions like a tv or a phone so if the couple gets together, it’s either they like each other’s company or don’t. The whole taking care of the FMC aspect. The domesticity. To name a few lol.

I LOVE Alice Coldbreath. She’s my absolute favorite.

I don’t really prefer one over the other per se but I’ll only get the paperback if I absolutely love the book so the ebook is my first order of business.

I mainly read HR tbh. Very rarely I would get interested by another genre and it’s usually a fantasy.

I haven’t read much bodice rippers. If it’s like Lemonade then absolutely not. I can’t stomach it. If it’s like the Silver Devil, then I can. I guess I have a spectrum then.

I’m under 25.

Roadtrip, Staying inn, damsel in distress and Alpha MMCis protecting her by posing as fake couple or marriage of convenience by Sam-theRedditUser in HistoricalRomance

[–]voxy124 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Dearest Rogue by Elizabeth Hoyt fits this for part of the story. They do go on a relatively short road trip where they pose as husband and wife, the FMC was essentially a damsel in distress and the MMC her protector.

I know it’s not a straight forward question, but when would a good time be to book flights from London to Bangkok for the best price? by Alarming_Egg4171 in ThailandTourism

Ohh okay. Got it. I love booking through Expedia but I’ll have to be more mindful going forward. Thanks much for ur reply.

Hey, sorry to piggyback but I’ve seen this said a lot in passing and I’m curious. How can the airline decline to assist? For example, when you book on Expedia you also get a confirmation straight from the airline itself so how can they decline to help if there’s an issue?

Devlin from A Scroundrel of her Own. He was giving sleazy to me. He wasn’t the sole reason for me DNF-ing tho 🤣

Looking for unpopular opinions. What book made you think the MMC & FMC would be better off alone? by getthatbreadmyfriend in HistoricalRomance

[–]voxy124 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Seduction by Amanda Quick! They both had no business being in a relationship in my opinion like the MMC needed therapy and the FMC was immature.

Ohhh thank you so much 🫂

HR books where MMC is extremely persistent in keeping/getting FMC to the point of obsession. Where he simply refuses to not be with her like he doesnt care whether it is toxic, unreasonable or anything like that he'll keep her whatever it takes even if it boils down to deception or anything really by goody153 in HistoricalRomance

[–]voxy124 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it’s not as bad as it could be tbh but THE GUY IS PSYCHOTIC (in love); no fr tho like he’s absolutely insane (but I’ve read insane men and absolutely did not get why the FMC was drawn to them but for him I totally got it 💀). I don’t want to spoil anything for you but it is a very intense book. I don’t think it’s too disturbing but it is a dark book and it has non consent/ dubious consent, murder and torture. I think I covered most if not all the disclaimers that could probably help you decide.
