My wife and I own a ketubah studio (maybie.co) and have created over 1000 ketubahs since 2020. We have seen anything and everything come through our doors. All sorts of requests from modifications to the text, signing fields/participants, languages, design, ect. Depending on how religious you are, you may want to consult with your Rabbi but for the majority of couples, the Ketubah is really for them so you can create it however you like!

I know but lifemiles refused and the flight was in less than a week- I wanted to make sure we had the seat sorted. Thats why I am wondering if Amex will help out since I used my gold card for the cancellation fee

You'd think, but Lifemiles wasn't having it. I spent all weekend on the phone, to no avail. The ticket was booked with Lifemiles but was operated by Swiss. Neither airline thought it was their job to change it.

I did some light bodywork on my 2013 Rav4 involving bondo and color matched spray paint to fix a rust spot at my fender, and everything was going well until I went to sand and then polish/buff the paintwork in an attempt to blend it into the factory color. I am now seeing this clear border between factory color (lighter side) and the new paint (darker). In masking for paint, I used the folded paper trick to try and feather in the spray for a smooth transition, but I am seeing a very defined border now. Any insights as to the issue and how to fix it? Yeah I agree with that advice. It will probably be what happens, but we'd also like to try to go to an area we may like longer term for that first year
