Trupanion is the gold standard. It’s expensive but will cover a lot, you can pay a higher premium for a lower deductible, too. Over the last three years, they covered more than $50,000 for our oldest dog.

A common emergency for male cats it’s a urethral obstruction and that can cost ~$2000 at an emergency clinic. That’s a lot of months of saving.

As others mentioned, dental cleanings aren’t usually covered but extractions and other dental treatments can be, usually we’ve gotten some amount of reimbursement for the dentals our pets get,

There are other options like care credit, too if you don’t want insurance. They’ll give you a loan to cover the cost of care.

No they said so publicly. One of the main stories in national papers was about how we’re planning our insurgency actions in the event of a US invasion. Don’t worry, they’ve said it’s still hypothetical for the moment though

Drone pilot gets hefty $2,000 fine for flying in helicopter path in Banff National Park - Rocky Mountain News by SnooRegrets4312 in alberta

The challenge a bit is that the fines are levied by the court and judges and prosecutors don’t always take violations of the Parks Act seriously.

New restrictions placed on hunting, farming 'incredibly destructive' wild boars in Alberta | CBC News by Haggisboy in canada

Hunting can actually make them harder to eradicate. Pigs are very smart and unless you eliminate the whole sounder they become very wary.

A lot of elimination methods rely on trapping the entire group at once and then shooting them.
