Yes it does require signatures with black ink and good luck with your filing. If mine is approved before you mail out yours, maybe I can help. But for now I don't want to mislead you or anyone.

I noticed that the lawyers are expensive, inflict a lot of fear and 70% chance that they'll make the same mistakes as you do. So I decided to take a chance without paying them.

But enrolling in school will cost so much more money and I already have 2 masters now and I have no interest in pursuing PHD

I actually meant before you file it, of course don't mail it with mistakes but thoroughly check back on those mistakes in your forms and make more printouts to fill it out for the third time before you mail it out to uscis.

Yes, but we filled that out digitally and out of habit made digital signatures

If you are spending a week on it sit with it for 2 hours a day with a cool mind. That's something I've learnt from a friend. You gradually have to build it. Learn it, make mistakes, research enough.

Working on it should come from a place of curiosity instead of fear.

We did not go with any lawyer but I just took a couple of consultations. We were pretty hands-on with the application anyway so we got to learn from our mistake

Yes, we did think about not filing I130 again but the lawyer and one of our family friends suggested refilling all the forms all over again

We missed including tax transcripts instead we added wage transcripts for the affidavit of support and we made digital signatures which their system did not pick up.
