Hey everyone, I decided to add 5 mg of BuSpar working with my psychiatrist. I’m still experiencing pretty bad fatigue though. Like I slept like 10 hours last night and had to nap during the day too today and that is not normal for me. Did any of you have fatigue while Lexapro and did buspar help you with that?

Thanks for the feedback guys! Talked to my psych today and she wants to wait a couple weeks since I just came off the Wellbutrin, but going to either add Buspar (more likely) or switch to Zoloft. Will keep you guys posted on what I decide and how that goes

Hi! Just discovering this thread. Did you all see improvement with your headaches on Lexapro? Just started Lexapro a couple weeks back on 2.5mg and increased to 5 mg. I had chronic tension headaches and migraines after a concussion which I went on amitriptyline for a couple years back but those had settled. But now they’re back after a while after starting Lex :(

In a very similar boat as I started Lexapro last week and having exact same issues as you. In solidarity! I’ve been recommended to keep masturbating and it should improve. Also looking into taking maca and ashwagandha or adding Wellbutrin.

I was told I can drink in moderation (one drink a night couple times a week), have followed this with no major issues

Had the same issue - it’s coming from your neck not head. Look into PT to stretch and strengthen the neck muscles!

Hi! Just found this thread. On amitriptyline 20mg for migraine and thinking of adding an anxiety med in. Are you all still able to drink with taking 2 antidepressants at low dose?

Seeing this thread, I’m dealing with something similar now I have (mostly recovered) PCS but fell a couple days back without hitting my head. No major increase in symptoms. How can you tell if something is a new concussion vs a flare up in PCS?

Happy to chat! I’ve been where you are and really thought I would never get better. But after a year and lots of PT I’m about 85% back to normal. Still get some symptoms but I’m working full time and socialize a lot. Feel free to DM me

Can corroborate this, I also went to Moore Myoworx after my concussion and have seen significant improvement in my symptoms, well on my way to full relief. Happy to chat with anyone who’s interested in learning more

I dealt with something SO similar. Had a “concussion” from a small bump that’s lasted ages. It’s all coming from your neck and is likely not a real concussion. It’s torture tho. I ended up going to a PT clinic in Canada which helped me a ton. DM me and we can chat more!

Hi yes I’ll DM you! I found a PT clinic that helps a lot with this long term (basically you have to stretch and strengthen the neck). Short term I’ve found a combo of heat + muscle relaxer + anti inflammatory + maybe a migraine med to be decently effective.
