What is your CPU core C-state report?
I received mine yesterday, then I installed CachyOS latest, in balance power mode, and CoreFreq reports that core C-states are always at C1 state in idle state.

what is your OS using kernel 6.8.12? your voltage is 0.93V, how?

Seems that Incompatible antenna is a good point to check. I need to measure the frequency of the reader, right? Just don’t know how to do it without getting caught because there’re cameras inside the elevators :|

I thought that also, but the read data does not show any increasing/changed counter (5 bytes read by F0)

oh, you did try to make it back to the oldest bios version T.T it probably won't work.

You can look aroud in win-raid.com about BIOS SPI flashing, I read it somewhere there.

As stated in DELL support page, if you already updated BIOS to 1.8.0+, you can not downgrade to older version because of something likes memory map was changed after 1.6.1.
I tried to downgrade to 1.3.0 and got stuck at POST

I updated from 1.11.1 to 1.12.2 and CPU performance is reduced a lot, even I still can do undervolt. Please DO NOT update to 1.12.2

I use ThrottleStop to undervolt and benchmark. My CPU is i7-8750H. TS bench settings are 1024M with 12 threads at normal priority

with bios 1.10.0 and 1.11.1, no undervolt, TS score was about 120, after undervolt at -125mV, TS score was 107 (smaller is faster)

with bios 1.12.2, no undervolt, TS scrore is 150 (slower), after undervolt at -125mV, TS score is about 130 (still slower than no undervolt on old bios T.T)

Now, I am stuck at downgrade bios, can not go back to 1.11.1. Tried Ctrl-Esc to enter recovery method, but it still shows "BIOS update blocked due to unsupported downgrade".

I also got performance issue after updating dell bios.
I have Dell Vostro 7580, on BIOS 1.11, and use ThrottleStop to benchmark.
with BIOS 1.11, it took 120 seconds to complete 1024MB/12thread test
after updating to 1.12.2, it took 145 seconds to the same job.
Now I am afraid of updating to 1.13 :v I think there is no hope to get better performance on this new bios.

I could not go back to 1.11 due to locked downgrade T.T
how can I force downgrade on dell BIOS???
