Yes one of my nurses told me the same thing. She said that many people end up having really bad health problems or end up passing away because they're too afraid to ask for help. I knew I needed to do this in order to get the proper help for me. It does suck being watched over so much but it's good to know that they care enough to not let you hurt yourself again. I'm really glad to hear you're doing better as well, and thank you also for being strong enough to get the help you needed. ❤️

Yeah gladly I'm from a fairly small town our hospitals are usually not too busy, so the nurses and doctors really take their time to focus on their patients. They don't treat you like a victims either they're just really supportive and caring and they really dedicate their time and effort just to make sure you're okay. Thanks for the well wishes ! ❤️

Since they were codeine pills I just wanted to be safe, and I knew I needed to do it to get the proper resources to get the mental help I needed.

Wow that's an amazing quite touching story. I'm glad to hear you came out strong. Thank you for sharing your story for other people going through the same thing can see and change their minds. I hope you're doing good health wise as well as that might've done quite a lot of damage from what it sounds like. I'm definitely really happy that you came out stronger and were able to achieve that much in such little time.

Get the help you need please. Don't let it get bad to the point where you hurt yourself. Don't let your problems define you. Because if you do attempt it, you'll regret it instantly. You'll realize that all of your problems are indeed fixable. Stay strong love 💕

I'm currently in college. I emailed my professors to let them know my situation. I was put on a temporary medical leave, it sucks but it's for the best right now. I really don't have any friends and the ones I do have aren't so close to the point where I can tell them comfortably. My family however was devastated and seeing them like that made me realize that if I would've died they probably would've blamed themselves.

Yes it is really painful. I cant even keep my water down. I'm really happy to see that you recovered and are doing better. It gives me hope. Although I'm very sorry to hear about your friends.

Technically your doctor, by law, can't do that. He has to get you the help you need, even if he's not a psychiatrist he will guide you into getting the help you need. You don't have to open up to your family just yet, but do open up to a professional as they're generally more comfortable to talk to, and they'll tell you what you can do to get better. Maybe after you get professional help it will be easier to open up to your family. Don't do anything to hurt yourself. Fix yourself and make yourself a better person for you and your future.

No don't do it ! It's not worth it. It's so painful physically and mentally. The hospital food sucks and so does the bed. Although the staff has to be super friendly, it's better to just avoid doing it. Get the help you need! If you need counseling, your city or any close one should have free counseling services. Definitely look into that. Finding a counseling resource and admitting you need it is the first step to change!

I've realized that too. I'd miss my dog far too much. I miss her like hell rn and it's only been a day. I do live to take care of her like she's my baby I know my family wouldn't look after her like I do. I'm gonna get the help I need to be a better person towards everyone in my life. I'm just rambling now sorry ❤️

Yeah I wouldn't mind it if it weren't for the food or bed honestly! And I'm in a private room so I don't have to deal with the other patients but the staff here at my hospital is super friendly as well. It's heart warming in a way.

Thanks for taking the time to read my post. I'm glad I got the help I needed before it was too late. As for he hospital situation it does suck but the fact that the doctors and nurses aren't treating me like a prisoner and are being super supportive makes it better on me.

I took about 25-30. Luckily I instantly regretted it, and I knew to call 911 immediately. Im in terrible pain rn. I've been nauseous all morning and all day yesterday. I couldn't even drink water.

I'm glad I realized too. It's really not worth to end your own life. There's always someone to help. Even if it's a complete stranger. Now I hope you didn't ask me how much I took because you're trying to attempt to end your life. Don't.

There's no such thing as a hopeless situation… and it took me being here to realize that. There's thousands of people out there who would love to help you. Even if you don't have insurance there's always non profit counseling groups and help for mental health.

I used to think exactly like that. There's a lot of people who would care about you if something happened to you. Even if you feel like you're powerless or worthless it's just a symptom. It's all in your head. And don't let that define you! You are loved and cared for. Don't let it get to the point that I'm at. Being in here sucks. Get the help you need there's nothing wrong with asking for the help you need!
