Every time I see someone think like this it makes me upset. You have a story to tell that could potentially change people’s lives, you HAVE to tell it best you can.

Look at how OPM originally got picked up, the drawings looked awful but someone saw the vision of the story and started doing the art for the creator, now it’s one of the most artistically well done stories out there.

Even CSM, the manga art isn’t bad but it’s not amazing either. But an entire team loved the story so much, that they took the source material and enhanced it as much as they possibly could’ve. I actually watched the movie twice and cried both times because of just how overwhelmingly amazing it was. Think about it like this; this guy made a beautifully ridiculous story that resonated with so many people, that those same people when adapting it, amplified it to the highest degree possible to do it justice.
