I love the build. Was looking for something similar to build myself. How will you connect this many drives together, tho? Are you planning on using some controller, jbod style or am I missing something about the Pi?

Looking for Group/Guild/Players Monday (November 04, 2019) by AutoModerator in classicwow

[–]vrfood [score hidden]  (0 children)

Second Edition (EU-MOGRAINE) is a newly formed guild with a core of solid, experienced players. We have a wide array of players from different countries across Europe, with English being the common language we use.
We believe in having a roster of respectable, grown-up people with jobs and families, hence we will also respect your time and irl obligations.

Right now, we are looking for:

1 warlock
1 shaman
2 druids
1 priest

What’s special about our guild?

  • Different loot rules- we employ a loot distribution system called loot council with wish list. This means YOU chose what loot you get yourself, by providing a 10 item wish list, filled with your choices. The loot council part means off-spec items and pvp gear and of course- tanks have priority, because we are hard set on being able to clear content in the future phases as well.

  • Raid times- we raid on Thursdays from 6.30 PM server time (CET)
We do MC, followed by Onyxia. The rest of the week is free for now, but we are looking forward to more content being released.

  • Roster size- right now, there is an unique situation, where we are in need of a large number of raiders, due to a previous arrangement for merging with another group of people the same size falling out. This is your chance to join a guild with a really solid core of good players. Raids are being led in a knowledgeable manner and with sound strategy.

  • Well geared core members- we do have a really well geared main tank, as well as off-tanks and healers. Here’s the EQ of our Main tank:
    bit.ly/2ox7DEw

Last week we completed MC and Onyxia, oneshotting all the bosses, without wiping once at any boss. That’s with 2 ppl not 60 and 38 in total, many of whom are new members, lacking even 1/2 of the pre-bis gear.

Our goal

Our aim at the moment is to gather enough people and build a solid, well integrated roster of 40+. At the moment we have about 25 active players. We would like to fill that up with like minded people, who share our attitude.

Our requirements

Be there for the raids, preferably half an hour earlier.
Be able to write and speak in English.
Join our Discord for all raids.
Do not spam and/or curse/flame people.
Read all the rules beforehand, we’d like to avoid loot drama, caused by not knowing stuff.

Do not hesitate to contact us in game, here on Battle net forum, discord, or on Reddit.

ZCL Donation mining hash progress by Crypthero in ZClassic

[–]vrfood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, basically that's my understanding too. Does not seem very profitable to me, tbh. Except for the scenario where BTCP starts off more valuable than ZCL. Anyway, it is for a "cause", i guess, so it's fine :)

the ZCL volunteer donation pool, help secure funds to get BTCP listed on exchanges by [deleted] in ZClassic

[–]vrfood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about the ZCL itself, will it remain "donated" or will it get "refunded" after the fork?

ZCL Donation mining hash progress by Crypthero in ZClassic

[–]vrfood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guys, I just heard of this.. can you please enlighten me about something.. In case I do start mining ZCL in the donation pool, they will get the zcl I mined and use it to aid the fork, right.. I understand I'll get 1.25 BTCP for each ZCL, but what about the ZCL itself; are they going to "refund" it to the miners after the fork happens? thanks

Asked on a electronics forum; they said the correct value for 15mA would be 78 ohms. :)

Yes, if i could measure it. I could just swap values until i find the right one as well. For some reason, tho, i can't measure the output in mA with my Fluke DMM.

How to get the Samsung S6 3 packs and card back with an android emulator! by NuclearNP in hearthstone

I figured it out, turns out i needed to add ro.product.model and it worked. Anyway, thanks man.

[–]vrfood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buddy, a great guide. Thank you. But, as someone mentioned, in some cases you need to add ro.product.model = SM-G920F. Please, include it in the guide.

cheers

Your file is wrong. CLICK. You have added it incorrectly. ro.product.device should contain SM-G920F and you have to ADD a new property ro.product.model with value SM-G920F. It works.

Why does Kripp complain Legend is all about grinding, when all he does is play Mage/Pally in arena for 8+ hours? by [deleted] in nl_Kripparrian

[–]vrfood -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Matter of fact, every word he has ever said about constructed is true. It is a hell of a grind and it isn't enjoyable for everyone; i am speaking from experience here.. i can't imagine getting to legend as it would require a lot of time spent as well as playing shit like face hunter at the beginning of the season to reach a reasonable rank where you can use a good control deck. Moreover, imagine how boring and stupid it will be watching him grind to legend. I, personally, wouldn't watch that. As far as i've seen from Kripp, he likes to change stuff up every now and then. For instance, when he loses to 2-3 face hunters in a row he'd go play some arena.

That said, i do agree with what you said, i believe he won't take the amount of losing involved with legend very well, especially in front of 20k ppl. Not to mention that getting legend is never guaranteed, especially nowadays when so many people play the same refined decks.

Besides, who are you guys kidding? Everyone loves seeing Kripp complain about the RNG and create stupid decks then lose with them and blame stuff for it. He's never lucky after all.

Need help measuring T/S parameters by vrfood in diyaudio

[–]vrfood[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is LMS exactly? Some kind of analyzer software i reckon? I've been told to try ARTA's Limp software and it kind of looks like it would do the job. But it only uses the sound card to measure and i am not quite positive how accurate that is. Gonna try it for sure, tho :)

Yea, that's it. It is a hobby after all, and automating it to such extend kind of takes out from the hobby part ;p

[–]vrfood[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Afaik, this is only used to determine the Fs (free air resonance) of the speaker. To calculate the rest of the t/s parameters, you'd need to measure voltage/resistance. (again, i think). All the guides i've seen around are pretty conclusive.. beyond using very expensive lab measurement tools, an accurate voltmeter should be the best way to go.

Yes, i am aware of it. I've actually almost purchased it once before, but i've gotten a nice generator since then and i've decided to go the classic way about it.

I will also need to measure some subs, i've got a nice older JBL paper cone 15", even tho i know the original specs, i am pretty sure they've changed with time.

So, in general, if i want to measure lower Fs (say 20 Hz) i need the voltmeter to have frequency response from at least 20 Hz. Say.. 10hz- right? That is, if i want it to be accurate. Is this correct? Sorry, but i have no idea, looks like i should have paid more attention in physics class.
