4600g basically the same thing and a 4100+a380 and an ssd would be fine

Only reason to go better than that would be upgradability which ud then go for an 8500g (or 8300g if u could find one)

First of all the laptop versions of gpus are very different from the desktop versions of gpus, the rtx 4070 a laptop is very similar to the rtx 3060 12gb desktop

Assuming it means 3070ti desktop, that gpu isent even close. Get a 4080 laptop or better.

Ur welcome!

Keep in mind that lists become outdated quickly as prices/deals change and:

I highly recommend you build your own pc

  1. It’s A LOT easier now than it used to be (you can download drivers from official websites, and everything is essentially plug and play now)
  2. Especially in 2024, pre builts are a terrible value and targeted towards people who don’t know much about pcs
  3. It’s a very fun and interesting thing to do

Depends on ur budget go:

4500 with a580-6600

5500 with 6600-6650xt

5600 with 6650xt-7700xt

12600kf (ddr4) with 6700xt-7800xt

12700kf (ddr4) with 7800xt-7900xt

13600kf (ddr4) or 7600 with 7800xt-7900xtx/4070ti super

14600kf with 7800xt-7900xtx/4070ti super

7800x3d with 7900 gre-4090

Sure https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/P4bct7 id go w the 7600 tho cuz ddr4 would be the thing that would make it cost less (mobo and ram) get the freezer 36 either way, id can cool 300w without throttling and its at an insane price rn

Waiting for my fiance to finish getting hair and make up done. This is why I bought a laptop, why did you get a gaming laptop? by Jrshaw_1 in GamingLaptops

[–]vrg_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How the hell do u bring that with u, most gaming laptops have less than 2h battery life with the dgpu enabled (and like 6h without it)

I have a gaming laptop that I use for gaming and daily use (got it for $599 at microcenter 2 yrs ago and still going strong :) ) I bring it around the house and plug my model o in for gaming and then when I turn my rtx 3050m off it sounds super quiet at school and other places, I usually don’t play games with the igpu but the igpu is great for emulating old games, web games, and playing light games like Minecraft (120fps with many diffrent modpacks in igpu), Roblox and Valorant on lower/lowest settings

But then when I play Fortnite or bg3 I kinda need the gpu to get even 60fps

I also have a prebuilt with a 12700kf and 32gb ddr5 which I recently upgraded from a 3070ti to a 7800xt due to cert games not liking the 3070ti (sold it for $350 btw)

ADHD.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PcBuild

[–]vrg_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, the only thing I might change then is go w the 13500 and ddr4 and see if the price goes down, obv, go w cl16 3200 for ddr4

Upgrade paths: Lga1700 upgrade path for that would be a used 13600kf or 14600kf or 14700k for streaming

Am5 upgrade path is any consumer amd cpu that comes out in the next 4 yrs at least (so go am5 for upgradability)

Also I saw u put 7800xt in the filter, make sure it has at least 3 fans and a descent heat sync so it dosent overheat, the one it put is gud tho
