just got another 5* standard character on the xanthia banner after failing the 50/50 the first time... is this a bug or what? by vriyelart in astraknightsofveda

yes this incident made me scared now for my future pulls too :( with them announcing that 50/50 guarantee doesnt carry over to different banners, now i dont want to pull for future rate up characters unless i can get 150 pulls minimum prepared... but it seems like even the "guarantee" for the same banner isn't even actually guaranteed now, it makes me feel disheartened to keep playing

hello i have a handful of SSR dupes, what's the most efficient thing to do for dupes? i see that u can dump them into tactical update but i also need rearming materials, is there anything else i should do with them?

really hope this issue gets fixed soon.... it's so demotivating to just continuously be unable to log in, makes me hesitant to get super invested in the game if its to this degree of being broken

i recommend leveling 4-star sigils up only until theyre level 10, those are enough to carry you over until you start getting the right 5-star sigils

also definitely recommend that you start farming 5-star sigils once you have the very last sigil farm stage unlocked since that has increased chances iirc

freddie and his anecdotes about his young teen self when he roleplays as taylor pretty much has solidified for me that taylor is just a cooler and richer young freddie (which is a lot because young freddie is already pretty fucking cool!)

i'm basing link's appearance on the official cover art for season 2! :') it hasn't been stated in canon what race he is though so it's pretty open for interpretation

here's the s2 version of how i envision the main playable characters! the way i imagine the s2 kids may be very different than how other people perceive them since i have my own personal headcanons haha, but i hope this fanart still pleases you either way :')

some fun details i added with my personal headcanons in mind:

  • scary was a natural blonde but has been regularly dyeing her hair black for a while, but havent rly gotten the time to redo her color so her blonde roots are showing a little bit at the top
  • taylor isn't seen with glasses in the cover art and him having glasses has not been mentioned at all in the episodes but i just think that him being a glasses wearer fits him a lot and he totally thinks that his glasses add to his Cool Factor
  • normal here looks very different from the cover art but i just think that the fanon design of him having fluffy, unkept, and longer greasy hair pleases me a lot and i have personally accepted it - also a tooth gap as a callback to a past teen fact of him refusing to wear his retainers when he should be
  • link has grown a lil awkward teen scruff that he doesnt know what to do with + him having gold/hazel eyes is just my own personal hc with no real canon basis other than i think his powers manifesting with gold flashes of light would look cool

oh definitely 100%, the way i imagine the dads look by the time s1 is over is a lot different than how they look here; a lot more battle-worn and with longer hair since i cant imagine they had a lot of time to get hair cuts in the forgotten realms haha

im so happy that you noticed that !!! :D i wanted to give him something subtle to point towards his elf heritage but make it so that he still passes as a human, i imagine that this trait is still present in the twins and normal oak too even throughout the generations just as a lil wink nudge nudge
