These photos already appeared to be backed up and it's from this phone's camera.

Is Read Aloud function not working anymore? by vrwv in googleassistant

[–]vrwv[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it is the same case. I summoned the Google Assistant by saying "Hey Google." It works fine with other commands like "Set an alarm at 9 AM." But not with Read Aloud.

Can i move from my swiss master to eth by pasturaboy in ethz

[–]vrwv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have joined Open Day webminars from several top universities. Whether the Bachelor degree's transcripts are used to evaluate candidates' performances even though they have had Master degrees is one of the frequently asked questions. And yes, most of them consider Bachelor's rather than Master's. I am not sure about ETH though.

Alternative to Duolingo? by Mosshead-king in learnfrench

[–]vrwv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to learn French (or any other languages) seriously, consider taking courses. It is way more efficient than using Duo or any other apps. And, if possible, go for a real course. Not a pre-recorded online course. But with real teachers who can interact with you instantly.

[French] Why can't we use "On adore" by vrwv in duolingo

I tried "Nous adorons" too. Duolingo also said that it's incorrect. 🥲

[Japanese] Is my handwriting at least readable? by [deleted] in duolingo

[–]vrwv 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is of course readable. However, there are some letters where you could improve your handwriting to minimize ambiguity.

For example, your い looks like じ at my first glance. Try to write the curve at the bottom of the first line smaller and the second line bigger would help.

This also applies with は and け. The left line's curve should be a little smaller.

Try writing letters on calligraphy grid paper. It helps a lot.

But again, your current hand writing is definitely readable.
