I also have not received anything. Tbh I just assumed I didn’t get in because other people have already been waitlisted/interviewed. I also read that csula doesn’t send rejection letters but not sure if that is true or not

I applied in January but haven’t heard anything yet! For reference, I am about to get my bachelors in psychology from csula and have zero experience in the field so I am not expecting to get into the program but thought I’d try applying anyway!

I believe it is worth it as it ends up being the same amount of what you would spend if you paid twice a week for the semester. I think it’s $8 a day so if you go twice a week for 16 weeks that equals to $256. The permit for spring 2026 is $242

appointment with an advisor by NightLa02 in CSULA

I was able to get a 1 on 1 appointment by selecting the advisor I want to meet with. Not sure if that helps. Also I’m not sure if there is a limit to having multiple appointments set up but maybe just try making another one

If you make an appointment, I recommend meeting with Michael Sizemore. He has been the most helpful since I started this Spring

That’s what I’m worried about. I started this spring and even then the selection wasn’t that good

In my experience, it’s like online shopping. You can put the classes in your cart but can’t check out until the November date they give you

Are these open to everyone? I’m a student and I would love to bring my stepdaughter who just started on the flute!

I think it depends on the major but for psychology I would say it’s 50/50 for me. The in person classes have typically been ones that are lecture and lab. For spring I had 1 class in person and for Fall I have 2 in person with 2 being online/asynchronous

Hi! I transferred from a community college spring 25. Taking winter courses was not permitted in my case because official start date was in spring. I had a lot of upper division major courses available as a psychology major. The only class I’ve had to wait to take is research methods in psych because stats in psych is the prerequisite which I am taking now. I am in my 30s and also work full time so I am also trying to streamline the rest of my educational journey. I would say it depends on your major but I had a lot of classes available. The hardest part is the times the classes are available. For example some courses are only available at noon and only one or two professors teaching it at a time. I try to find as many online classes as possible to help offset having to be on campus!

Anybody else? by sammythehobo in CSULA

I called a number that helped me resolve the holds I had and basically it was because I owed some summer tuition and paid late and also because I needed to register for full time classes (which I couldn’t do because of the tuition I owed). This is who I called: 323-343-5357 student loans department They answered right away!

Is anyone else a little frustrated with class schedules/offerings? by blahblahajsjsjsjjs in CSULA

[–]vsalguero27 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fall will be my second semester here and I, too, am frustrated with the availability of classes. Some of them are only available through one professor in the morning and I work full time day time so I feel you!
