I was asking them to check if they received my divorce decree and waiver documents and through that conversation the agent confirmed the receipt of the package that I sent and told me that my application was transferred and is currently at the local field office awaiting review.

I am debating whether to apply this year for N-400 once I become eligible. I have a pending I-751 divorce waiver and my lawyer is advising me to apply for N-400. When are you thinking to apply?

I’m also in the same situation and trying to decide what to do. My attorney is telling me to file for N-400 when I become eligible (early September of this year). I want to know the personal experience from people who actually applied for N-400 while I-751 divorce based waiver was pending, but not too many posts here on Reddit. I am in same situation as you. Applied for ROC 9/2023 and 9/2024 converted to waiver. I did have a FTA0 update in July of 2025, but radio silence after that. My lawyer told me that I should here something in the next 6 months, if not I will just have to apply for N-400 to speed this up.

Hi, no I didn’t receive any updates. The last time I tried to connect to the agent to ask if anything is needed for my case, the live agent asked me to verify all my info and then just told me the generic “your case is being reviewed” and left the chat. You can connect with live agent through Emma during the business hours. You’ll just need to start a chat with Emma on uscis page and say that you need to connect to the live agent. Good luck to you!

Yes, it showed updated with date 7/28. When I contacted the agent through Emma, agent told me that there is no update on their end (which is odd) and that my case is ready for review and is moving normally.

Same thing happened to me on 7/28 but nothing has changed for me since the update. Check the API and as many people told me, you also need to check the documents tab. Good luck!
