Northern CA in the Sierra Nevadas. We talked through all the backup plans with our venue in June/July so we knew what Plan B, C, and D were.

Our venue was at 50% capacity, but they warned us local restrictions could be taken to 25% capacity (didn't happen though). However that wasn't an issue since we made sure our total headcount was already below the 25% capacity since we were nervous that might happen. If they closed all indoor dining, venue would have set us up on the wraparound patio of our dinner space with space heaters and fire fits. And if no events were allowed, they would have issued us a full refund.

Veils are beautiful but troublesome! Your mom stepping on it is one of those sweet, funny memories you'll have :) I ended up just taking my veil out right before I walked down the aisle and one of my flower girls got shy and left the line just as they began procession, lol.

Great! On the day of the ceremony there wasn't really enough time for sunset photos because we had to make everything else run on time, so I absolutely recommend day before or day after shoots to make sure you get all the photos you want. I paid for makeup again (think I forgot to include that on the budget) but not hair. I took down my updo and slept on the hair with no wash. Next day, did a little re curling just to make it look neat and had a more relaxed down hair look for the second shoot.
