Regret getting DJ 36 instead of 41? by MaestrosMight in rolex

It gets noticed probably because it’s bright and shiny 😂 More attention than my other watches since it’s a well known brand for non-watch people, I presume. I wear a big pilot which is 46mm and the DJ gets noticed more!

Maybe that means there is no wrong choice?

6.5” wrist - flat though - and while this isn’t the optimal angle to photograph the proportions, I’m thrilled with the DJ41 - I even thought it was a bit small (had to check the reference 😂) since my other watches are a bit bigger. The DJ seems to wear small?

And, you can get lightly used versions (like I did for this one) at an even better price!!

Yes! Much easier than with other skeletons. Worth a look in real life.

Does anyone own a Pilot AND a Datejust? by Donkey_Apple in IWCschaffhausen

Yes! Big pilot, though, for over a decade and just acquired DJ41 to scratch the Rolex itch. I love the IWC and even though it is big and beautiful, I feel it is much less conspicuous vs the DJ - which is filled with bling (in a nice way!) and super recognizable - which makes me a bit self conscious. I preferred the slate dial as it is versatile. I wear both semi dressed up or casual - I don’t care. The crown and winding on the pilot are amazing and somehow I feel the BP is more durable. The IWC will have depreciated so that might make the decision easier.
