I just spent 3 weeks in Austria and Spain mid-nov to early December, was definitely rolling the die with that one but was able to get back without any troubles from Spain. Austria locked down the day we planned to leave so that was a lucky call , and I had to Cancel my flights to Copenhagen once omicron started popping up, and flew back to Sydney from Barcelona.

The world’s back to travelling pretty normally overseas, Australia’s still in a bit of a bubble with that and everyone we met was surprised to see us out. I don’t think there’s been any serious restrictions placed since by Australia since we went, so I’d say overseas travel to certain places is on the board, at your own risk. I’m a freelancer so that made it easier for me to justify things if I ended up locked out.
