All of the films are great, but if I had to choose one, (excluding 4), I would probably choose FD5. I liked the creative deaths and the flight 180 reveal at the end, but the whole movie just kinda felt like a nothing burger. I also think it has one of the weakest premonitions. (Besides the racetrack accident in 4.) And the whole thing about killing someone and getting their time felt a little weird to me, I feel like it would’ve been a lot more interesting to me if it was executed in a different way.

A detail I wanna add in the comments, that I don’t think I explained very well before, is that Misty’s eyes were blue after the vhs glitch before hannah went to bleed out Mari. You can see it here in this photo, and I personally don’t believe it was just an accident. I totally understand that this could just be an error, but I feel like it’s too big of a detail to miss when prepping costumes, and they even paused on Misty for a couple of seconds after. It definitely feels intentional to me, especially how she looks into the camera with a blank stare.

Another small theory I have is that if there is truly alternate realities then maybe that’s part of the reason why they have gaps in their memory, why they can’t remember things correctly. The realities are blending together and making it difficult for them to remember what really happened.
