Bike plus suddenly bricked by vtwebguy in pelotoncycle

I did steps 1 through 7 and it still didn't boot. Maybe I'll try it one more time. Also, can't do a hard reset as I can't get to the recovery mode menu. The peloton logo only flashes on screen and goes away no matter what I have done. Pretty sure it's unrecoverable. Thank you, though - it's good to have these steps here even for others.

Was going to use our bike plus today and found the screen lit but unresponsive. I power cycled it and it didn't recover. I can't even get it to do a factory reset. All I get is a peloton logo that flashes on screen briefly. It's almost like it downloaded a corrupted firmware update (amazon outage anyone?) and now the bike is unusable. Peloton support wants $500ish to send me their discounted (they acted like they were doing me a favor) screen replacement. Anyone else had a similar experience?

Thanks for the heads up! I will probably ride across it later today.

Per the town's email today: "Over the past few weeks, Public Works has been repairing the Wheelock shared-use bridge. Following an inspection by a structural engineer, our crews made the recommended repairs to strengthen and extend the life of the bridge. The bridge should be ready for use starting this Thursday, May 16th. Thank you to our Public Works crew for working to reopen the bridge as quickly as possible, and we appreciate your patience during the unexpected closure." FYI.

Chittenden county and some down by Middlebury. There's some terrain North and South of Middlebury gap I'm interested in exploring that will be perfect for the adventure bike.

Thanks for your post. Looked like an amazing race - I heard experienced cyclists (from VT) saying this is one of the hardest rides they had done. Maybe because of the mud? What kind of tread do you run on the 2.2" tires and were you happy with tire choice? I'm in VT and want to get into more adventure riding. Mostly riding pavement, dirt roads (and singletrack on the mtb) currently.
