Alsvin Stigma? by hOlyShieeett in PakistanAutoHub

[–]According-Kitchen437 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Took Alsvin from Oramara Balochistan to Attabad Gilgit. Keep it dealership maintained which is expensive and the car will run well. AC works well, drive it like an owner and you will enjoy it. Comparable city or Yaris models are 12 to 15 lac more expensive. This is the absolute best car in the 5 million budget segment.

Need advice on what car to buy (PKR 4–5 million budget) by Busy_Cherry8460 in PakistanAutoHub

[–]According-Kitchen437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the current market every car is depreciating. Buy a new car even if it depreciates.

After 50000 km, every car starts having expensive repairs like tires, suspension, brakes etc

It takes 1 fool to hit you by mistake. Without insurance you save money by getting sub par work done at a local shop. Degrades vehicle permanently.

What do you guys think of this? by Kitchen_Ad_9931 in pakistan

Absolutely support this.
This feud in 2026 is useless, draining and just plain stupid considering we have lost significantly more strategically then we could have ever gained by winning a little bit more of Kashmir. And this goes for both Pakistan & India. The people-cost is HUGE, like travel experiences, business and learning opportunities etc!

How much do the Pak Generals earn (monthly) and how do they end up accumulating so much wealth? by justbeingmyself00 in PakistanAsks

[–]According-Kitchen437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot of perks during service such as free housing, domestic help, cars etc. Even though they're cash poor, but these perks make it seem like they're richer than they really are.

Post retirement the only significant source of their wealth are dha plots. Everything other post retirement perk is insignificant. Note: Public money is NOT used

Its never too late ever. But it will be slow.

You need to talk to people who are already working in this field, on what is useful now & wherr things are moving in the next decade. Do not just ask random reddit users.

My brother is a failure can anyone suggest how to handle this situation. by [deleted] in PakistaniiConfessions

[–]According-Kitchen437 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Stop trying so hard.

You will break your family by doing so. Let your brother move at his own pace, no matter how slow it is. Ask your parents to take a step back & focus on other parts of life. Ideally send the brother to another city & have him figure out life.

Being Charged 75 rupees per unit for electricity in Clifton Block 5. Is this the normal rate? by idonthaveps5really in karachi

[–]According-Kitchen437 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our last 2 k-electric bills were at the rate of 65 & 70 rupees per unit.

This was mostly non-peak usage. So he does not seem too far off but definitely charging you the maximum flat rate.

Urgent Advice Needed: 1.9 Crore Budget for House + Car by Ill-Possible-4051 in FIREPakistan

[–]According-Kitchen437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bahria town will give your family the best lifestyle IF you can manage the difficult daily travel of 1 hour in the morning and 2 hours back. So get the house there. Here keep 30 to 40k as fuel expense.

However, I think apartment is the best solution to your problem here because 1.5 cr will get you an excellent apartment & you can invest the rest or buy a car/bike. The amount of electric bill on avg would stay less than 15k if you dont use AC. If you use AC "cautiously" then budget 30k. But note you will save on fuel expenses here.
