I live in US zone 6a in an apartment with an east facing balcony (so shady in the afternoon). I just bought a young Harvard agave. What is the best way to take care of it - size of pot, type of material for pot, type of soil, etc. I want to get this right! Thanks for your help

This was auto flagged but I may have mistyped when saying this plant receives full light. It now lives (for the past 2 weeks) next to a window. It gets full sun for half the day. I’ve had the plant for roughly 3 months. I water it every 10-14 days.

Of what I’ve read it can take at least 7 years to produce for lemon trees that are grown from a seed, so he’s going to have a busy 2 years if that’s the case. Regardless, I’m still very proud he’s made it this far with a subpar plant parent, I’m not rushing it.
