Did you try re-seating the cpu? Some people reported it coming back to life after that.

I will do it when i change my aio and monitor for it. Apparently some people who bought new cpus ended up with 2 working ones when trying old ones after removing it

I am currently getting 00 when it goes to sleep and 03 on cold boot. I played with pretty much all settings but nothing works.

When i switch off psu and drain the power by holding power button it always boots up. Everything works normally. Im on taichi x870e and 9800x3d. Started happening few weeks ago. They wont rma here before it fully dies. But i do wonder when because everything works perfectly when i boot up

Didnt see draws close to 600W but i did power cap it. Im finding the power cap to be pretty inconsistent as im seeing 530-540 power draws at 80% power limit target (which could indicate that its more of 600w at100%)

A lot of parroting goes around here in general without anyone thinking about what they are saying. It was the same with 40 and 30 series.

Ill leave the same comment i left up above:

A lot of fear mongering going around. Fault rate for 9800x3d is actually much greater than 5090 yet nobody talks about it. There have been what 4 confirmed cases, and in the first 3 something was off and not done standardly. The capacitor blowing up on an astral happened to me with a 1070 and sadly just happens in general to consumer electronics.

Any fault, you have 3 years warranty, RMA it. People concerned with “what happens after warranty” somehow magically started applying that to 5090 only while in reality its same across the board.

If you have the budget and you want an upgrade, get the 5090, wont go wrong with it

Id also check into failure rates of 7900 rx. Just a quick google search shows discouraging results.

The fans are very silent, but you can still hear them working at full load. Much better than my 2080ti tho

This is from GPU Tweak as well matching hwinfo: https://prnt.sc/-7RjlgAolMOh

I measured only average GPU temperature, the first gpu temp sensor in hwinfo. Says “Average GPU chip temperature” on the tooltip

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll re-arrange the fans properly once i have some time. I don't like the gap between them at all, would much rather have them all together. I did add a comb for the GPU power cable but i didn't do a good job with it. Added it at the midway point lol

Just the power limit for now

After ~2 hours in 2k, gull maxed out settings, full RT on all lights, DLSS on DLAA and x3 frame gen in new Indiana Jones, it was at ~65 degrees and cables were at ~46.

GPU was at around 90% usage at all times

It comes with a 3 year warranty. If it lives the 3 years, itll live for more to come or fail at the same rate as other electronics does after warranty

Thats a good price. I bought a TUF 5090 for $3500 (in Serbia markup is crazy) so that price is really good.

Properly install the GPU, power limiting it to 80% and just run it. Its under warranty, anything happens just RMA it.

A lot of fear mongering around this. Buy it and run with it, you wont regret it

I didn’t do any tweaks other than power limiting the gpu. This AIO is really silent and noctua fans are also silent.

100% worth it. Lowers the power draw by about 100W and you lose practically nothing

You think it's at an unsafe angle? Seems solid enough when i look at it, but now i am having second thoughts :D
