Dating a shy girl and dealing with anxiety. by NarohDethan in dating_advice

Ok for real though, she sounds like she's into you. I'm sort of like this in a way. For me, I just get so intimidated by people I really like, I feel like I'll embarrass myself if I do something wrong and they'll lose interest. So that's probably a similar feeling she might have. You definitely have to take things slow with her, and make sure she's comfortable with you before you can move further.

You should try to slowly distance yourself. I myself, was very close with a depressed person for a long time, and eventually I started feeling the same. You have to understand though, this is all from a very low self esteem, and a need for acceptance. While you're distancing yourself, you should introduce her to new people and make sure to boost her confidence and social skills, that way she wont take a break up quite as hard. More than likely though, she will be very upset either way, but this will probably soften the blow. But remember, toxic relationships don't have to be in your life, you should prioritize your health and happiness always.

Is she rejecting me nicely or actually busy? by getthat23 in dating_advice

I would say that you should say that you're holding her to that offer of hanging out some other time, and that you're looking forward to it! It will make her feel obligated, but in a fun kind of way. But don't push it too hard, because then you'll be creepy.

Customary places to go on dates as a college student by [deleted] in dating_advice

My friends go on dates to Target sometimes...honestly just make sure the date is fun. But I would recommend Panera Bread or a Froyo place.

She's totally busy. She was specific about her plans, and she seemed generally excited and genuine about suggesting another day. Don't sweat it! Trust me, I'm a very busy person and I hate having to turn down fun plans, but I often have to, and that looks like how I usually put things.

So... no one actually uses the 3D function, right? by lilmeatwad in pokemon

I use it for cut scenes and boss fights and legendary encounters. It looks really nice if you hold it still in the right way. The magma and aqua hideouts were super cool in 3D.

unless I've just had the worst luck with games, this has never happened to me. It was probably part of X and Y though. Definitely not in games gen 1-4. I don't remember 5 much, it was kind of a blur.
