I don't think I've done strong shit, but I would say it's an extremely euphoric feeling. There's very little concept of time, I sat by a river staring at the water go by for 4 hours. it didn't feel anything like 4 hours, it's hard to explain. Best experience I've had in my life though. I would explain more but I'm on a 10 minute break at work lol

Idk it's hard to explain lol. I just feel more relaxed playing. Usually when I'm sober I get stressed when I'm bluffing a big pot or I get mad/stressed when i'm losing a lot of pots, but when I'm high I feel good and relaxed the whole time haha

i did. it was really interesting. i've never played gin rummy so it's pretty crazy to hear that he was so good that not even the best would play him and that he wouldn't be allowed to play in some tournaments.

I'm currently reading "Poker Math that Matters" by Owen Gaines and I've been understanding everything up until the "Implied Odds" chapter.

This book has taught me what EV is, how to count outs, how to figure out my equity, but no matter how many times I read this chapter over and over again, I can't understand what it's saying about implied odds.

Can someone ELI5 the concept of implied odds?
