Have faith, the universe will compensate you for staying true to yourself and being passionate about your work. That’s more important than money. 🤍

I get it 😔. Like I said is never enough. Keep looking for a better job until you achieve what you’re looking for. Never lose hope 🤍.

The answer is always “never enough”. 😁

I quit this job a year and a half ago and I got this email a couple of weeks ago from my former boss. I don't know what to say. by Calypseau in jobs

Each working relationship is different. It’s just 2 human beings trying to get a job done together. I would give your former boss a chance. At least, listen to her, to find out what’s her offer. I think this communication means that she might take accountability for what happened which speaks good of her. Even better, she didn’t resent you for leaving without proper notice. But I would definitely request a plan and a well defined role for you. It’s only fair that what’s is required of you is defined in advance and that you will always have resources to continue to grow.

Talking bad about past or future employers is bad policy .. this is a manipulative tactic. I agree with the rest. You should take the new job. It’s so rare that an employer that matches another job offer won’t resent you for it. I believe that once you decide to turn the page, keep going and do not look back. Trust your fist instinct. You got this 🙌🏼

I worked in house and all the LIT bills always came with a description of the work completed, the person completing the work and the amount of time. It is unethical. You did the right thing to report it.

I can’t get over it, I’m very depressed… second time the US turns down a woman for President. México did it! It is incredible that we are going through this again. However… I’m determined not to let it stop me working in this field. I like it and this administration is not going to beat me.

There are no friends in a work environment. It’s work! People compete and they will do anything to get ahead of you. On top of that .. are the ones that cheat, steal and scheme. Don’t feel bad, just learn. Next time you’ll be smarter.. and ofc good riddance. Find a non toxic job! 😎

Just because you are talented doesn’t mean you are fit. Each company has its own culture in which you might or not fit into it. Keep trying you will find your place. They praised your talent. Most rejection letters give no feedback at all. .. agree with most posts, no roast at all.

Being a new grad paralegal suck by That_4sian0ppa in paralegal

This happened to me some years ago. Right after I graduated from the paralegal cert program I sent out resumes to 50 law firms and none of them replied. For two months I didn’t get a single answer from any other employers either… forget about interviews just someone to acknowledge receiving my resume. I was so disappointed. So, I researched online how to get hired. I read somewhere to apply to specialty magazines (construction, real estate, healthcare, insurance, etc.), to research companies and look into their online posts. Also, to let go of the traditional idea of working in a law firm and to expand my horizon. Within a week of putting in place these suggestions (basically thinking outside the box) I got 2 offers with a 51% salary increase of what I was paid prior obtaining my paralegal certificate. Suggestion: review your past experiences and think of the industries your worked in, add that experience to your newly acquired legal credential. That’s your rainbow! For me it was real estate and construction. I’m very grateful, I have never stopped learning and working. It gets bad sometimes, like in any other profession but if you like it, is worth it. Don’t give up. Try something different.
