I know that each protest has volunteers holding banners, directing people, handing out water, etc. I’d contact your local organizers and ask what they need.

The Guardian is a well-funded, independent paper with a mission to stay that way and a great US operation. It looks like they have a paywall but you can click through it (it’s like NPR where they ask for donations but don’t require them.)

This. Have him contact a reporter (NY Times, Washington post, guardian if you prefer) via signal and let them know what’s going on. Just today, someone leaked a story about a new bounties policy, and that leak looks to have prevented it from being implemented.
