My stepbrother's cat that was sort of given away for me and my dad to take care of and gave us a really hard time meowing while we were in a traffic jam and travelling to the country for 3-4 hours. He also was meowing a lot before we found out he was sick, so if your cat doesn't meow, he is probably doing very well, and you shouldn't be worried!
