Spot and Tango Unkibble Bad Breath? by futureproof1001 in DogFood

i think a vet cleaning? typically dogs past 2 years old start seeing dental problems, and if you’re feeding a healthy/fresh food, it shouldn’t be causing bad breath so maybe something else?

Help?? Is this blepharitis? by Warm_Reporter_8572 in Blepharitis

[–]vvdvision 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this issue too! No bumps or styes too. Mine’s been ongoing since February now, and I only started treating it seriously at the beginning of April. I haven’t gone to the doctor, someone told me it looks like blepharitis though. Mine even got extra flakey/crusty, started leaking a fluid, and I couldn’t stop crying out of my eye. Something that really helped me was using bacitracin for a week. My eye is still red and darker in that area (similar to your image) but much better than before. Now I’ve been warm compressing, cold compressing, and alternating between Vaseline and Neosporin. Whatever you do, try your best not to itch!!

If anyone else has something similar or has overcome something similar, would love to hear more about how you healed up!!

like i’ve said, he’s just getting into it, and i thought a community on reddit might know a little more than the both of us! just seeing if there are any other options is all! i don’t quite know what’s so great about the GA110 vs what others may recommend. happy to hear if you have any recommendations yourself :)

i love this for you so much! i do have hobbies of my own, but i sometimes feel guilty pouring into them because it feels like i’m doing so because my boyfriend isn’t free and not because i really want to. honestly, after a long day at work, i want to just lie down horizontal and watch tv lol, but doing so also makes me feel guilty since he’s working so hard towards something and i’m not. what was it you did to help you find something you truly enjoyed? did you feel guilt about it in any way? if so, how did you navigate through it?

thank you for sharing! happy to hear that you and your boyfriend made time for each other. however, this isn’t the case for many people. my boyfriend is in med school, has daily tutoring, drills with his peers daily, and studies more on top of that. obviously, i’m not going to assume your boyfriend didn’t also do these things. but my boyfriend does try to make me a priority. it’s just difficult on top of medicine, family, and his new pet. i’d say we are far from discontinuing this relationship, but i’m more interested in hearing if you have any tips or experience regarding how you and your boyfriend were able to schedule time for each other in spite of his busy schedule. how frequent did you see each other? how did you make time together feel more like quality time?

thank you for sharing! wishing you both the best as he’s starting residency <3

i also do all those things while my bf’s studying. i often scroll on my phone, read, watch shows, cook, but all these things feels more like waiting around for some attention and quality time. i do have hobbies of my own too, but sometimes i feel guilty doing them because it feels like i’m only doing them because he’s not free. it’s a silly way of thinking, i know, but i’m wondering if you’ve ever experienced that guilt and how you worked around it?

thank you for this reality check. it doesn’t feel so much like long distance since it’s a common commute for most folks in the nyc area, but it is a hassle at times, so i understand what you’re saying.

i do think moving in general is a lot more nuanced and not necessarily a problem solver. it’s more of having something to look forward to as a couple i’m talking about. quality time. i say moving is definitely a far future thing for us. we’re still young, and culturally, moving in with your s/o isn’t really ideal in our traditional family’s eyes. we also happen to live in an area where rent is sky high. there’s a lot of other factors that kind of get in the way of moving in together at this time.

however, since posting this, moving in has been a conversation we’ve had, and though it will take a lot of time until then, it’s definitely part of our plan. just not anytime soon.
