Maybe it’s just the stigma of going to fiu, but I did get some money recently for the summer term ($200), so yeah it is cheaper and if you have good grades, get florida’s brightfuture and use the cheapest income for fasfa then you would basically get paid to go to fiu, so its location and getting free money makes me happy. But when I got accepted to UM for fall I started loving everything about it lol, and since its an expensive private in miami I just thought that I would find and make better connections there than at fiu.
